Girls\' Generation\'s Yuri reveals her own natural skincare secret

Get your pen and paper out if you want flawless skin like Girls\' Generation\'s Yuri because she\'s revealed a skincare secret!

Channel Girls\' Generation\', Yuri showed that drinking freshly squeezed lemon juice mixed with carbonated water for 5 days can greatly improve your skin. 

She named this concoction "beneficial-water", which actually is a play on words as it sounds like "Yuri water". Additionally, she added in a helpful tip, saying you should wait 30 minutes to brush your teeth after you drink this since the drink is acidic due to the lemon juice.

Actually Yuri does seem to give great tips. She\'s been replying to fans since yesterday who had questions on instagram and she gave them great tips that showed she does know what she\'s talking about and isn\'t just blurting out random words.

The real "secret" is that celebrities have a team of professionals around them making sure they look their best at all times. Makeup artists, dieticians, trainers, dermatologists...

That\'s no secret but its up to the celebrities to meet with these professionals especially personal trainers and dermatologists

I\'ve been taking a glass of this mixture like half a year ago now. Not only helped me with my skin. But it has also helped me to lose weight. :) I just add the juice of a fresh lemon. If it\'s a large lemon I only use half. And then I add less than half a teaspoon of bicarbonate.

I used to try lemon water but for people with acne prone skin like me, i feel applying tea tree oil mixed with aloe vera gel on my skin as my daily moisturiser routine makes my skin clearer and less outbreaks in the hot Summer. Its quite mild on my skin compared to the other harsh acne creams prescribed by my dermatologist that dry out my face

You can usually buy carbonated water at a grocery store. Its like fizzy water. (Or like pop/soda without the flavour)

Hello? Do all white people have healthy skin? It\'s different and you\'re making yourself look like an idiot and embarrassing your country LOL

i do this a lot. but with still water.   very good wake me up routine and it helps my system feel clean and stable

Where do I buy carbonated water? I mean, of course, not the fizzy soda type but pure carbonated water. I don\'t think they have it at Wal-Mart xS

That\'s not possible. Wal-Mart should have it (or Costco). Ask them if they have certain brands, like Perrier or San Pellegrino.

best bet would be to Google "water carbonators". That way you can just take it where you find it and make your own. :)

@dawonbi Lol, you know, instead of searching your butt off, why don\'t you just make your own detox/infused water? There\'re tons of recipes online you could use anyway.

I am sure Yuri\'s water has its benefits, but sorry Yuri and any other celebrity who claims that home remedies are enough to get perfect skin, but without weekly professional services (and equipment) I doubt all their skins can be that smooth and uniform, and look the same! 

Not exactly. I mean, obviously lemon water alone isn\'t gonna get you perfect skin, but home remedies have proven to have better benefits in the long run than doing weekly spas and facials (not to mention not eco-friendly and way cheaper). TBH, I actually found Yuri to be the most natural-looking member out of the whole group, but that\'s just me.

@Ryen yeap alot of skin care remedies can be made at home using everyday items

@mitcat ITA... homemade juice, detox water, facial masks, essential oils... and the beauty of it is you get to control the ingredients according to your skin type and diet.

true! i mean they all share these so-called "secrets" but the secret to fantastic skin like theirs is regular visits to dermatologists and professional skincare. period. none of these drinking wtv can help your skin by much really, unless you\'re blessed with amazing genes.

I have (almost) perfect skin and I drink 5-7 glasses water everyday, 1 hot water with pressed lemon and skincare products (scrub, cleanser, toner, serum, mask, moisturizer)... It\'s possible to get good skin like k-idols if you dedicate to your skin. My only flaw is I get 1-2 pimples but they\'re usually small :) also eating healthy, most idols do that. Ofc I\'m not denying that some idols goes to professionals though but it\'s possible getting good skin :) vitamin c serum goes a long way alone

this might be a dumb question to ask... but what is carbonated water? Like can someone give me a brand? 

Carbonated Water CO2 is also called sparkling water. Another brand is Perrier.

Like Soft drink which contain sweetener and a natural or artificial flavoring.

Perrier is good too. It could be a bit pricey though, just because it comes in a glass bottle. Some other, cheaper ones are Arrowhead and Mineragua.
