The memory isn’t real. Nothing more than a dream but this time you really loved me and I felt it so deeply.

We placed my blanket, my stuffed animals, the cakes and tea cups in a row along the grass.

The weather it was perfect and your smile out shined the sun. You looked at me lovingly and I dug into my cupcake, the jam across my lips as I laughed.

The storms they began and you packed away all our memories. I begged you to let me keep them but you refused and threw them away.

The tea party was over and we no longer would sleep under the stars.

I still ask myself why did you stop loving me?

I closed my eyes and heard the waves crashing. Please listen I pleaded but your mind was made up and the clouds were chasing us out from this dream.

I still have many shattered pieces of tea cups in my hands and the more I try to piece them together the more they break.
