Alice stared down hard at the envelope. She knew by the writing that it was from Blake. The way she wrote, looked like she was in a hurry and didn't have time to write. Knowing Blake, she probably didn't have time to write, so she wrote the invitations quickly. Alice opened the envelope and saw a corny looking party invitation. Great, another party to go to.

She was going to tell her friends today, she just had to. The secret was making her more and more on edge, and she didn't like being on edge. She needed to just let it out. All of it. She didn't care if her friends hated her anymore. If they were true friends, they would be okay with it and did it because they asked her to, and it really wasn't Blake's fault that she lied, it was theirs.

Normally, Alice couldn't stand being in school, but today, it was a good thing.
