I absolutely love them as a couple. What hurt me most in the show wasn't anyone's individual death, but the negation of Kyouko's beautiful sacrifice for Sayaka. Madoka had hurt Sayaka enough by abandoning her--repeatedly--without having to steal such a beautiful and selfless expression of love from her as well. For me, they were the series. . . I don't really like Yuri in general but this pairing really grew on me. Even though I like the two a lot as friends, Kyouko did seem to really care for Sayaka in episodes eight and nine. Also the fact that these two remind me of a close friend of mine and her girlfriend also makes me love them even more than I planned on.
