has always worn its pop culture obsessions on its sleeves, and sometimes those sleeves belong to shirts adorned with superhero emblems. Sheldon has spent years wearing T-shirts of the DC superhero The Flash, not to mention a full-on costume, but for the first time in the sitcom\'s currently 9-season history,

is actually going to bring a live-action Flash to Season 10, not with Grant Gustin, but with

actor Brandon Jones. Here\'s how he\'ll enter the early-season episode, according to showrunner Steve Molaro.

He appears in one of Sheldon\'s dreams. He does insane things. It\'s a Flash we may not be used to.

to introduce an actual superhero. Viewers have had many a good time watching Sheldon\'s various dreamscapes, which have included time travel - something The Flash knows a little bit about -

\'s Mr. Spock, Jedi Bob Newhart and more. Sheldon\'s imagination gets the better of him quite often, and it\'s only natural that he will manifest the Scarlet Speedster, presumably when faced with a quickness-relevant problem.

It was only recently teased that Brandon Jones would be appearing on

next season, with Mayim Bialik hitting up social media with "flash"y hints about him feeling comfortable in latex. Considering all the madness involved with DC comic book characters being able to crossover from one network to the next, I certainly hope it wasn\'t too difficult to get the rights to The Flash so long as the CW series and the upcoming feature aren\'t brought up.

Which then begs the question of what Steve Molaro meant when he told TVLine that we might not be used to this version of The Flash. Considering these teases have all been vocal in nature, I\'m suddenly worried that Brandon Jones might not be playing a truly legit iteration of the classic hero. But I can\'t imagine this show would aim to tarnish the character\'s name, so perhaps it\'s best to stay positive.

will return to CBS for Season 10 starting on Monday, September 19, at 8:00 p.m. ET. And it will be bringing back guest stars Judd Hirsch and Laurie Metcalf, as well as introducing Penny\'s family, with Katey Sagal and Jack McBrayer joining the fun. Meanwhile, the REAL Flash will make his way back to The CW for Season 3 on Tuesday, October 4, at 8:00 p.m. ET.
