Pearl Harbor was great..but The Island was not so great. I give it a 50/50 chance of bombing or blowing up.

He shows no respect or reverence towards the characters in Transformers the way those of us who grew up watching them did. He's too old to have experienced it the way the rest of us who hold them near and dear have. He even said he couldn't care less about the fanboys being upset. Turning Jazz from a Porsche into a Pontiac whatever and Bumblebee from a VW Beetle into a Camaro?! Talk about selling out for product placement and GM. I hear it's a big ad for eBay too. Way to pimp out our childhood heroes Michael Bay.

meglovesskyle, Pearl Harbor was a horrible film. The horrendous acting, the historical inaccuracy of the entire thing, and the overall feeling of the film was that of a crapfest. The Island was actually pretty good thats what I thought so... Opposite points of view. I checked on rottentomatoes, and although there was a helluva lot of product placement, it seemed to get really great reviews, so Michael Bay could be the right choice.

it was an awesome movie, with a lot of intense action, and shia was awesome.
but there were plot lines that went to nowhere.
like for instance, what happened to starscream? did the jets get him or not?
and what happened to the 360, mountain dew machine, and car that got hit by the cube and transformed?
and where did scorpinak go to?
and did barricade ever show up to the final fight?
what happened to him?

you may be right, but no one can deny that Micheal Bay is the BEST pure action director out there, and with spielburg behind him he cant be beat

i did not like the way the EYES were done on the autobots they looked too roboty the cartoon versions were a lot better and megatron looked weird
